LETTER FROM DEPTT.OF POSTS TO AIGDSU REGARDING INDEFINITE STRIKE

INDEFINITE STRIKE DEFERRED BY AIGDSU

         Comrades,A meeting was held between representatives of AIGDSU and officers of Department of Posts on today to discuss AIGDSU Indefinite Strike Demands.The Department of Posts had given written assurance for implementation of the Kamlesh Chandra Committee positive recommendations and also asked AIGDSU to submit a separate representations regarding SDBS scheme,Pension & ESI schemes.The Deptt. of Posts will take minimum 2/3 months for implementation of the recommendations.So,the INDEFINITE STRIKE was deferred. The Indefinite Strike will be held from 25/4/2017 at 6.00 a.m onwards.All CWC members, Divisional/Branch Secretaries and active Members of AIGDSU of Assam Circle are requested to make Success the Indefinite Strike.
