AIGDSU ULTIMATUM TO DEPARTMENT OF POSTS

        If the GDS Committee report is not implemented on or before 15 August, 2017 the deffered INDEFINITE STRIKE of AIGDSU will be started at any time. This is an ultimatum of AIGDSU to the department of posts. AIGDSU General Secretary Com. S.S.Mahadevaiah worte strong protest letter to the department of Posts.AIGDSU reminded the department about 24-4-2017 written agreement made between our union and department of posts during Indefinite strike negotiation. In the agreement the department assured us for an early Implementation of GDS Committee Report After 2 months time also there is not remarkable development from that side. Hence AIGDSU decided to Initiate defereed Indefinite Strike at any time. BE READY FOR ANOTHER INDEFINITE STRIKE.

         Comrades,A meeting was held between representatives of AIGDSU and officers of Department of Posts on today to discuss AIGDSU Indefinite Strike Demands.The Department of Posts had given written assurance for implementation of the Kamlesh Chandra Committee positive recommendations and also asked AIGDSU to submit a separate representations regarding SDBS scheme,Pension & ESI schemes.The Deptt. of Posts will take minimum 2/3 months for implementation of the recommendations.So,the INDEFINITE STRIKE was deferred.
